How to Register

Early Registration is advised to secure the class of your choice and to avoid course cancellation due to low enrollment.

Registration opens — Spring Session: the second week of March / Fall Session: last week of August / Winter session: the first week of January - and continues until the 2nd week past class start date. Classes that do not meet minimum participants will be cancelled one day before the start date.

Complete the registration form and remit with payment in one of the following ways: (Please note that online registration is not available at this time.)

Registration and payment must be received before you begin class. Check, Money Order, Visa, or MasterCard only—we do not accept cash. Please note all checks and money orders must be made out to: Harold Washington College and all credit card charges will be billed from Harold Washington College.

Upon receipt of registration and payment, your seat is reserved in the class. Only cancellation and waiting list participants will be notified by phone.

Chicago Cultural Center Mosaic Members receive a 10% discount on all classes. Please call 312.744.0185 for membership information.

Cancellation Policy

artScape Chicago reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason and/or if the minimum number of registered participants has not been met one day before the class begins. A full refund will be issued to registered participants if artScape Chicago cancels a class. Checks will be refunded in four to six weeks, and credit card payees should call 312.553.5620 to confirm their refund.

Refunds & Withdrawals

All refund requests must be submitted in writing and include your signature. They can be faxed to: artScape Chicago 312.744.9249. Full refunds will be given to participants who withdraw seven days before the class is scheduled to begin. 90% will be refunded to participants who withdraw less than one week in advance. 80% will be refunded to participants who withdraw one business day after the first class meeting, and NO REFUNDS will be given after that, whether or not the student attends.

Make-Up Classes

Make-up classes for holidays have been included in the schedule, and the week after classes end is open to make-up any unforeseen cancellations on the part of artScape Chicago.

Materials Fees

Materials Fees are not included, unless otherwise stipulated in the course description. Salon Series Classes includes most materials in the course fee.
